Description
7×19 stainless wire rope is the flexible choice, with 133 wires that bend easily around pulleys and sheaves. This rope is 316 low-carbon stainless, sold by the reel in 1/8″, 3/16″ and 1/4″ diameters.
It is used for running rigging, winches, pulleys, garage and gate cables, lanyards and cable railings that need a softer bend.

Working load vs. breaking strength: The working load limit is the most weight the cable is rated to carry in normal, everyday use. Breaking strength is the point where the cable would fail, and it is always much higher than the working load. Always size cable by its working load, never by its breaking strength.
